Jackson’s Yorkshire’s Champion Bread

We firmly believe that there's no other bread like Jackson's Yorkshire's Champion.  Available in three delicious varieties and in full and half bloomer sizes, this sliced bloomer is unique and delicious.

Our bread is baked in Hull from flour that's milled in Driffield, making this one loaf that’s a Yorkshire champion!

Every ingredient is carefully selected and blended to create a loaf that’s both wholesome and nutritious.

Yorkshire’s Champion is our way of honouring our roots and celebrating all that’s good about our great county, in a loaf that’s deliciously moreish and bursting with Yorkshire goodness!

Jacksons has been established since 1851 and is part of William Jackson Food Group – a fifth generation family business.

Our champion bloomers not only grace the tea tables and lunch boxes of the UK, but we also specialise in baking sandwich carriers exported to countries across the globe for sandwich makers and food service.

Our packaging is recyclable

All of our bread bags are fully recyclable and we encourage our customers to return them to supermarkets where they can be recycled along with carrier bags. We continue in our search for sustainable packaging which keeps sliced bread fresh and can be fully recyclable via home collections but at the moment we haven’t found anything which we believe is more sustainable and doesn’t need separating to be fully recyclable in home recycling collections.

Our palm oil is fully sustainable

Palm oil was introduced to the food industry a number of years ago to replace unhealthy hydrogenated fats and is a very versatile ingredient. The use of palm oil has become a very complex issue with some favouring its removal and others favouring sustainable sourcing.

We understand and share your concerns around palm oil but please be assured we only use a tiny amount of palm oil which is fully segregated sustainable palm oil certified by the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). We regularly audit our supply chain to ensure it complies with the strict guidelines put in place by RSPO, and we also frequently check our suppliers’ RSPO certificates are renewed annually.  Furthermore, last year we submitted our palm oil policy to Ethical Consumer and received the best possible rating for our palm sourcing.

...we wouldn't buy any other bread now and the grand kids who are very fussy about their bread love it. We have also introduced it to the rest of our family and friends. It really is worth paying that little bit more for top quality bread that keeps longer. Thank you.
